Current Initiative

Sudden Cardiac arrest is a medical emergency that affects millions and, in certain situations, is potentially reversible if treated early.

We are currently funding a national initiative for improving the outcome of sudden cardiac arrest. The Urgent Response Fund will be providing our nation’s emergency response agencies with a patented “Cardiac Calculator”. This online tool will allow public safety officials to measure the efficiency of wireless 9-1-1 call routing. With the insights provided by the tool, agencies can then make any necessary adjustments to improve emergency response times.
